Practical information
Setup & cleanup of the venue
Welcome! Since you are renting only the venue at Maison Mariette, you are responsible for the organisation, setup, takedown and logistics of all external materials. To make sure everything runs smoothly, we ask you to follow the guidelines below strictly.
1. Before the party: Contact & setup
- Mandatory prior contact: Contact us at least 2 weeks before the party to go over the logistical planning.
- Deliveries & setup: Rented materials (tents, tables, tableware, refrigerated trailers, ...) may only be delivered and set up within the rented time slot, unless a different buffer period has been agreed in writing beforehand.
- Access routes & ground surface: The delivery of heavy materials and the setup of tents always takes place in consultation with us. No vehicles may drive on the lawn without prior permission, to prevent damage to the garden.
2. After the party: Takedown & external materials
- Takedown: All materials you brought or rented must be fully taken down and cleared away by the end of the rental period.
- Stacking & collection: External rental materials still to be collected by the rental company must be neatly stacked at the agreed collection point (for example in the covered hangar), so they stay dry and do not block the passage.
- Collection time: All rented materials must be removed from the premises within the rented time slot at the latest, unless otherwise agreed in writing beforehand.
- Damage check: The ground surface (lawn/terrace) where tents or heavy structures stood has been checked for leftover pegs, weights or damage.
3. The equipped kitchen & bar (if applicable)
- Dishwasher: All used plates, glasses and cutlery belonging to the venue are in the dishwasher and the programme has been started. Large pots and pans have been washed by hand.
- Appliances: The induction hob, ovens and espresso machine have been wiped clean on the surface.
- Fridges: The venue's fridges and freezer have been completely emptied. Any leftovers or surplus drinks have been taken home.
- Countertops: All countertops and tables belonging to the venue have been cleared and wiped down with a damp cloth.
4. The rooms & fixed furniture (Indoors & Hangar)
- Fixed furniture: All of La Mariette's own tables and chairs are back in their original place.
- Decorations: All party decorations you brought (garlands, balloons, table coverings) have been completely removed.
- Floors: The floors indoors and in the hangar are free of scattered debris and have been swept broom clean.
5. The outdoor area (Terrace, garden & fire pit)
- Fire pit: The fire has been completely extinguished. No ashes, wood remnants or waste are left around the fire basket.
- Glasses & cups: No empties or plastic are left lying around on the lawn or terrace.
6. Waste & empties
- Take-your-waste-home rule: All party waste (PMD bags, residual waste, paper/cardboard and glass) must be taken home by the renter or caterer.
- Check: No full or empty rubbish bags are left behind on the premises (neither indoors nor outdoors).
- Important note: If rubbish bags are nevertheless left behind, a flat fee of € 15 per abandoned rubbish bag will be deducted from the deposit.
7. Departure & locking up
- Lights & appliances: All lights are switched off and the heating/air conditioning is set to the agreed setting.
- Windows & doors: All windows are closed and the outside doors are locked.
- Key: All windows are closed and the outside doors are locked.
