Maison Mariette

We had a great team day at Maison Mariette. The space was very well suited for larger group discussions as well as smaller break-out meetings. What makes it special is the homely atmosphere, where people quickly feel at ease. You can help yourself to coffee and tea, and the kitchen is also available to use, just like at home. A delicious freshly prepared meal was delivered for lunch. At the same time, all the necessary equipment (screens, wifi, and sound) was completely in order. Definitely recommended for your off-site! We couldn't get enough of it and unexpectedly ended up staying later that evening with pizzas we ordered. Thanks for the hospitality and flexibility!

Maison Mariette is an outstanding venue for intensive training programs, as I experienced during a four-day leadership course led by Lisa for a group of ten teamleads from miDiagnostics. Lisa is an exceptional trainer who consistently establishes a structured, safe, and engaging atmosphere, enabling participants to openly share experiences and learn collaboratively. The setting is ideal for groups of various sizes, with a circular seating arrangement that fosters equality and strong group connection. The house offers multiple cosy breakout spaces, perfectly suited for interactive teamwork sessions in smaller groups. Moreover, Maison Mariette provides a warm setting, quality facilities, excellent homemade meals, and comfortable rooms. The option to stay overnight between training days makes the overall experience even more convenient.

I find Maison Mariette a particularly pleasant location to rent for trainings, workshops, and coaching sessions. The place breathes authenticity: it's a house with a story, where the history of its previous inhabitants is honored with respect. That warm, lived-in atmosphere helps participants quickly feel welcome and at ease. At the same time, everything is in place for professional work, both with groups and in individual coaching sessions. The location is also easily accessible and practically set up. For me, Maison Mariette combines warmth, professionalism, and functionality in a way that invites encounter, reflection, and learning.

Maison Mariette feels both homely and professional: warm, welcoming, and respectful of the character of the original building. My personal coaching sessions take place there in a calm and inspiring setting, where I can always choose the space that best suits the moment.

Together with Lisa and other colleagues, I've stayed at Maison Mariette on several occasions. I find it a wonderful place to work together. The physical space, both indoors and outdoors, helps to explore new perspectives, and the homely, welcoming atmosphere provides a sense of calm and comfort.

For me, Maison Mariette is one of those rare places where the setting actively moves the (thought) work forward, rather than just facilitating it. It's easily accessible — not far from the highway, and if you'd rather cycle, there's a beautiful route to get there by bike. Inside, everything you need to get started right away is there: screens, wifi, the whole setup for a hassle-free work session. But what really makes it special is the renovation — carried out with care, and with an eye for the nostalgic details that nod to the building's former functions and residents. You can feel the history of the place working alongside you. There's also a lot of natural light coming in, which is literally illuminating when you're guiding a group through a strategic exercise. Large spaces for plenary work, smaller breakout rooms to think things through in subgroups, and — not unimportant — the option to stay overnight, so you can genuinely keep working into the late hours without watching the clock. In short: highly recommended.

Maison Mariette is the perfect place to hold your workshop, training, or coaching session. It combines the authentic charm of a farmhouse with the functionality of a modern workshop space. It's something unique, something "different." With its large windows and view of the garden, the hall gives an indoor-outdoor feel. It's a space away from the busy world, one that invites you to get to work together and focus on what needs attention. The functional kitchen and the variety of meeting spaces give you different options to creatively shape your time there.

Maison Mariette is a beautifully renovated house that retains its original charm. You feel at home right away. Its calming atmosphere makes it an ideal coaching location, encouraging reflection and inspiration. The house is becoming a regular spot for me, and I always enjoy coming back.

Maison Mariette, a fantastic place to be. A place where old and new come together in a building beautifully renovated while preserving its authentic elements. We spent a wonderful family weekend here with 12 people! Everything has been thought of: a spacious kitchen with a super handy storage cupboard, the possibility of seating many people at one table, plenty of bathrooms, and various seating areas so you can find some peace and quiet. Outside, a beautiful garden with a spacious terrace and wadi, a large open hangar to sit and play under, an oasis of calm in the green garden — truly wonderful. In the evenings, the youngsters could head out to Leuven, just a 10-minute drive away. In short, Maison Mariette really offered us everything we needed for a successful weekend! Highly recommended!

Thank you for another wonderful stay at Maison Mariette. Having stayed twice in the past year with our extended family, we wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed our visits. The house is exceptionally well suited to larger groups, with excellent facilities, a practical and well-equipped kitchen, and ample fridge and freezer space that make catering easy. We also greatly appreciate the fast, reliable WiFi, especially when so many people are connected. One of the highlights for us is the beautifully designed outdoor space, which creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere for spending time together or simply enjoying a quiet coffee. Combined with the peaceful walks in the surrounding area and the easy access to Leuven city centre, it offers an ideal balance of tranquillity and convenience. We would also like to thank Lisa for the warm welcome, helpfulness, and excellent communication on both occasions. Maison Mariette has become a favourite destination for our family gatherings, and we would gladly recommend it to others. We hope to return again in the future.

Maison Mariette almost feels like our second home. We enjoy staying there whenever we have the chance to be together in Belgium. The location is perfect: we can cycle to Leuven or meet up with friends in Bierbeek or in the house itself. The house is welcoming, warm and perfectly equipped to spend quality time together inside and outside.

With our youth wind band, we organized a pancake concert at Maison Mariette, and it was a huge success! Our 30-strong youth orchestra played under the hangar, while around 80 guests enjoyed themselves in the spacious garden and on the terrace. The layout is perfect: the large kitchen made it easy to prepare the pancakes smoothly, everyone found a spot inside or outside, and afterwards many people stayed on to chat over a drink. An absolute must for your event!

For Christmas, we headed to Maison Mariette with the whole family. This was the best Christmas ever! The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. In the spacious kitchen, we could cook together while the youngsters played games in one of the seating areas. After a lovely dinner at the big long table, where the whole family could sit together, the grandparents could go to bed while the rest of the family enjoyed lingering at the table in the living room. In this atmospheric, authentic building, where everything you need is on hand and everything has just been renovated, we could truly be together as a family. Thanks, Lisa and co! It was wonderful!

With our clarinet quartet, we've found Maison Mariette to be the ideal spot for our rehearsals! The large space allows us to work on music in a pleasant atmosphere, in a setting that closely resembles the one we perform our concerts in. It's also a top location for a chamber music concert!
