Parking
You can park your car on the driveway of Maison Mariette (Hoegaardsesteenweg 60) or of the building next door (Hoegaardsesteenweg 62).
In total there is room for 6 cars at the premises: 2 at no. 60, 2 at no. 62 and 2 on the street in front of the buildings with those same house numbers.
Please remind participants that parking on the bicycle path is prohibited; parking on the street is fine.
To avoid inconvenience for the neighbours, we ask that no more than 2 cars be parked on the street. The remaining participants can either park at De Velpe within walking distance (690 m) or at the Boutersem carpool parking and drive to the location together in one car from there.
Room layout
You are free to use all appliances and materials available in the rooms you have rented.
In De Sofa and Het Salon we work with a fixed setup: sofas in De Sofa and a table with chairs in Het Salon. This setup cannot be changed. There you will also find water, soft drinks and the option to make coffee or tea. If you have not also rented De Stallen, you can get additional water from the washbasin in the accessible toilet if needed.
In De Stallen you have full use of the fully equipped kitchen. There is also a coffee machine (with many options) and a kettle. Cutlery, crockery and multiple glasses and cups are available for 25 people.
There are 8 seating tables, 25 chairs and 10 seats in the sofas. If you wish, you can also use the 3 high buffet tables located under the hangar. You can arrange the tables and chairs in whatever setup you prefer. Please take the necessary care when doing so, to avoid damaging the parquet floor, and always move the tables with 2 people. The sofas and other furniture may not be moved. We ask that you put the tables and chairs back as you found them after your session. If you let us know your preferred room setup in advance, we will set up the room for you!
On arrival
The back door of Maison Mariette will be open. If it is not, you can find a spare key in the key box next to that door. You can obtain the code by calling Lisa (+32 (0)473 750 686) or Sari (+32 (0)476 631 966).
On the kitchen island or on the meeting table in the room you have rented, you will find a document with all the practical details for using the meeting rooms and the kitchen.
Facilities
Both Het Salon and De Stallen offer projection facilities (TV screen to be connected with an HDMI cable).
Het Salon comes with one flip chart as standard. De Stallen comes with 2 as standard. If you would also like to use a flip chart in De Sofa, we provide a portable post-it flip chart for that purpose.
Post-its, markers, painter's tape and other training supplies are available in all rooms.
Outdoor spaces
When renting only De Sofa or Het Salon, no outdoor spaces are available.
When renting De Stallen, you can also use the terrace adjoining the stables and all the facilities of Den Buiten, including a covered outdoor workspace.
On departure
After use, please leave the room as you found it. If you need cleaning supplies, you will find them in the technical room next to the accessible toilet.

If you need help or support
We are not always present ourselves when you use Maison Mariette as a facilitator or trainer. It is therefore important to align well in advance on your wishes and needs. We have also documented the essential practical information; you will find a printed version in the room you are renting.
